Hurray!!! I finished (maybe) painting Hayleigh's Comet. Now, when I say maybe, I mean that I'm not totally satisfied and may change or tweak a few things later. Such as the fact that she is supposed to be bay, but she is some awkward color between bay and sorrel. :P I realized after I was done that I had forgotten to make her legs black. I attempted to darken them, but it just muted all the details and makes the legs look flat. :( So, I shall have to experiment. The good thing is she's DONE!!! The bad thing is that in Photoshop, all the colors and shadows/highlights look great, but once it's on the web, all the colors are dark and yicky. Bleh. Another bad thing is this took 25 or so hours to do...soooooooooo, I kinda need to learn how to color quickly. O_o

Seems like you finally got pics to work on here. The art is greeat, but you will need a way to speed it up.
Yup. It was just me being silly getting them to work. I was copying the wrong links. :P I know I will...my hope for the moment is that I will get so good at coloring like this that I will be able to speed paint something like this in an hour. ^^'
is the comic going to have speech? What type of format are you using?
Yes. It will have speech. I doubt the horses will "talk." I'd like to challenge myself and have the horses communicate with body language instead of speech.

Like will it be on regular sized 8 1/2 x11? will it have panels or what?
Umm...well, I can't remember exactly how many pixels wide and tall each page is. Each page is the same size. It's a tad bit wider and much taller than standard paper size. Yes, it will have panels, but there is no set panel scheme. I'll just do the panels however I see fit and not have an actual template. Production is slow, considering I had band camp last week and I'll have it this week, too.
